キリシタン関連史料を翻刻

このプロジェクトは、キリシタンおよび反キリシタン文学や資料の翻刻をすることを目的としています。これにより、機械読み取り可能なデータを作成し、研究者がキリシタンに関連する資料を新しい方法で探求できるようになることが期待されています。また、「みんなで翻訳」のプラットフォームを利用することで、これらの資料に関する学者や一般人の認識や知識が増えることが期待されます。 This project aims to create transcriptions of Kirishitan and anti-Kirishitan literature that has been photographed and is accessible through online repositories. It is hoped that this will allow for the creation of machine readable data which scholars will be able to use to explore texts relating to Christianity in Japan in new ways. Furthermore, by using the Minna de honkoku platform, awareness and knowledge of these texts can reach new circles both scholarly and popular. このプロジェクトは、早稲田大学高等研究所のモリス、ジェームズ・ハリーがDNP文化振興財団の助成を受けて実施している研究プロジェクト「デジタル時代におけるキリシタン版: デジタル手法による『キリシタン版』探索の可能性と限界に関する考察」の一環として実施されるものです。 The project is part of the research project “Kirishitan-ban in the Digital Age: A Study of the Opportunities and Limitations of Applying Digital Methods to Kirishitan-ban” being conducted by James Harry Morris at Waseda University’s Institute for Advanced Study and funded by the DNP Foundation for Cultural Promotion.
