下野守満快十八世之孫桃沢左近亮
為政と申者武田信玄公之先手を
勤候由其子左近亮為興天正元子

岩村城攻之節討死其子筑後為綏

為濨信州伊南之郷桃沢荘川中
嶋之牢人戸枝帯刀と申者方ニ養れ候
ニ付苗字をも戸枝と改候由申伝候為濨ニ

現代語訳
下野守満快十八世の孫桃沢左近亮為政という者は武田信玄公の先手を勤めていたという。その子左近亮為興は、天正元年（1573年）三月十五日、武田信玄が美濃国岩村城を攻めた際に討死した。その子筑後為綏、その子次郎左衛門為命、その子市郎右衛門為濨は、信州伊南の郷桃沢荘川中嶋の浪人戸枝帯刀という者の元に養われたため、苗字も戸枝と改めたと言い伝えられている。為濨には男子三人があり、戸枝甚五郎・同文三郎・同半兵衛というが、この三人の末跡は不詳である。市左衛門為滋という者は、この三人のうちの一人で、帯刀の家督を相続し、最上において召し出されたのではないかと伝えられているが、詳細は不詳である。

Momozawa Sakon-no-suke Tamamasa, the 18th generation descendant of Shimotsuke-no-kami Mitsunobu, served as a vanguard for Lord Takeda Shingen. His son Sakon-no-suke Tameoki died in battle on March 15, 1573 (Tenshō 1), when Takeda Shingen attacked Iwamura Castle in Mino Province. His son Chikugo Tameyasu, his son Jirōzaemon Tamenori, and his son Ichirōemon Tamehiro were adopted by a rōnin named Toeda Taitō in Kawanakajima, Momozawa-shō, Inan district of Shinano Province, and therefore changed their family name to Toeda as well. Tamehiro had three sons: Toeda Jingorō, Bunzaburō, and Hanbei, but the fate of these three is unknown. Ichizaemon Tameshige was one of these three and inherited Taitō's family headship, and it is said that he was probably summoned to service in Mogami, though the details are unclear.
1. Date unknown: In Dewa Province Mogami, he was granted a stipend of 150 koku and summoned to service as part of the tozama group.
