現代語訳
一 同七戌年（明和七年）五月、親の関右衛門の願い通り、擬作職から召し上げられ、親の御擬作の内から五石一人扶持を減らされ、十五石三人扶持を下され、今まての御擬作職を召し上げられた。
一 同年十月、勤番として江戸表へ登り、翌亥年四月の御下向の御供として下向した。
一 同九子年（明和九年）六月、御茶園において水術の指南を仰せ付けられた。
一 天明二寅年（天明二年）三月、門弟の居合所を一覧された。
但し、この後度々御一覧になられた。
一 同年十月、勤番として江戸表へ登り、貞明様の御供御用を勤め、御城入番を仰せ付けられ、滞りなく勤めたので金二分を下された。
一 同三卯年（天明三年）四月、江戸表において御徒目付を仰せ付けられ、御下向の御供として下向した。
一 同四辰年（天明四年）三月、猪苗代の穀留御用を仰せ付けられ勤めた。
一 同年四月、御手元の者どもに水術の指南を仰せ付けられていたところ、出精したとのことで仰せ出された。

• In the 7th year of Meiwa (1770), fifth month: As requested by his father Sekiemon, he was relieved of his gisaku (agricultural management) position. Five koku and one person's stipend were reduced from his father's gisaku allowance, and he was granted fifteen koku and three persons' stipend. His previous gisaku position was taken away.
• Same year, tenth month: He went up to Edo as a kinban (duty officer) and returned the following year (Boar year) in the fourth month accompanying the lord's return journey.
• In the 9th year of Meiwa (1772), sixth month: He was appointed to provide instruction in water arts (swimming) at the tea garden.
• In the 2nd year of Tenmei (1782), third month: The lord inspected the iai practice hall of his students.
Note: After this, such inspections were conducted many times.
• Same year, tenth month: He went up to Edo as a kinban, served in attendance upon Lord Sadaaki, was appointed to castle guard duty, and performed his duties without fault, for which he was awarded two bu in gold.
• In the 3rd year of Tenmei (1783), fourth month: He was appointed as ashigaru inspector (otsukami metsuke) in Edo and returned accompanying the lord's descent.
• In the 4th year of Tenmei (1784), third month: He was appointed to grain embargo duties in Inawashiro and served accordingly.
• Same year, fourth month: He had been appointed to instruct the lord's retainers in water arts, and it was announced that he had performed with diligence.
