行人坂（きやうにんさか）の北（きた）永峯松平（なかみねまつたひら）
主殿侯（とのもかう）別荘（へつさう）の後（うしろ）中（なか）
目黒（めくろ）の方（かた）へ少（すこ）し下（くた）る所（ところ）
なり初（はしめ）《振り仮名：鎗か崎｜やり さき》といひ
しを後（のち）に《振り仮名：千代か崎｜ち よ さき》と
改（あらため）られしといふ主殿侯（とのもかう）
構（かまひ）の旧跡（きうせき）ににて池（いけ）の
傍（かたはら）に衣掛松（きぬかけまつ）といふ
有（ある）は新田義興（につたよしおき）の室（しつ）
義興（よしおき）《振り仮名：矢口の渡｜やくち わた》しにて
最期（さいこ）の事（こと）を聞（きゝ）かなしみに
絶（たえ）す此池（このいけ）に身（み）を
投（なく）るといへり絶景（せつけい）
観（くわん）といへるも
此（この）別荘（へつさう）の号（かう）

千代ヶ崎（ちよがさき）
行人坂（ぎょうにんざか）の北、永峯松平主殿頭（とのものかみ）
別荘の後ろ、目黒の方へ少し下る所
である。初め槍ヶ崎（やりがさき）といっていた
のを後に千代ヶ崎と
改められたという。主殿頭の
屋敷の旧跡で、池の
傍らに衣掛松（きぬかけまつ）という松が
ある。これは新田義興（にったよしおき）の妻が
義興が矢口の渡しで
最期を遂げたことを聞き、悲しみに
耐えず、この池に身を
投げたと言われている。絶景
観（ぜっけいかん）というのも
この別荘の名前
であるということだ。

Chiyogasaki (Chiyo Cape)
North of Gyōnin-zaka slope, behind the villa of Nagamine Matsudaira Tonomo-no-kami, this is a place that descends slightly toward Meguro. Originally called Yarigasaki (Spear Cape), it was later renamed Chiyogasaki. This is the former site of Tonomo-no-kami's estate, and beside the pond stands a pine tree called Kinukake-matsu (Robe-hanging Pine). It is said that when the wife of Nitta Yoshioki heard that Yoshioki had met his end at Yaguchi-no-watashi ferry, she was overcome with grief and threw herself into this pond. "Zekkeikan" (Superb View Pavilion) is also said to be the name of this villa.
