ただし右渡り初めの儀は、これまで京町大黒屋長左衛門、同俵左衛門に代々仰せ付けられていたが、俵左衛門の親が御咎めを仰せ付けられたため取り止められ、今度は本町の両替屋荒木善左衛門、駒屋長右衛門という者に仰せ付けられた
一 同月二十五日 端午御祝儀御献上につきての御内書が御城においてお渡しになられ、御家来への拝領物等は例の通り
一 九月四日 重陽御祝儀として御使者を通じて例の通り御小袖を献上され、白銀を指し上げられた
一 十月六日 御登城されたところ（昨五日御老中より御切紙が来る）年号を元禄と改元することが仰せ出されたとの御老中からの御達しがあった
一 十一月十日 政姫様の御名を豊姫様とお改めになられた

• August 1st: Attended court and presented the ceremonial sword and horse money as usual.
• August 5th: The Ōhashi bridge construction was completed and the bridge opening ceremony was held.
However, regarding this bridge opening ceremony, although it had been traditionally assigned to Kyōmachi's Daikokuya Chōzaemon and Tawarazaemon for generations, since Tawarazaemon's father was reprimanded, this was discontinued. This time it was assigned to Honmachi's money changer Araki Zenzaemon and Komaya Chōemon.
• August 25th: An inner letter regarding the Boys' Day celebration offering was delivered at the castle, and gifts to retainers were given as usual.
