　一　三月十三日去ル朔日西尾隠岐守《割書：忠｜尚》殿
　　　大御所様御附御老中江　仰出候ニ付為御歓江戸表江御書被指出之
　一　同月十八日御家老酒井外記《割書：知｜喬》月切駕籠之誓詞御目付中山五郎左衛門《割書：時｜庸》殿江
　　　罷出重而相調之
　一　同月廿日御家中勝手願之儀ニ付左之通御書付を以被　仰出之

　　　　　　　御家中勝手難取続面々願申上候儀先ツ者御取揚無
　　　　　　　之候處其頭其支配ゟ遂吟味無據願之儀者追而被相
　　　　　　　達候得者夫々江御取扱も被　仰出候此儀容易ニ者不相
　　　　　　　成儀ニ候得共格別之　御慈悲を以拝借等被　仰付儀
　　　　　　　ニ候然処去年以来勝手願餘多有之候尤等閑之　　　　　　　
　　　　　　　儀者有之間敷候得共近年被　仰出も有之処寺も

ただし、外に正徳二年三月に仰せ出された御触れがあるが、同様の内容につき記載しない。

一、三月十三日、去る朔日に西尾隠岐守忠尚殿が大御所様の御付御老中に仰せ出されたことにつき、御祝いのため江戸表に御書状を差し出された。

一、同月十八日、御家老酒井外記知喬が月切駕籠の誓詞について、御目付中山五郎左衛門時庸殿のもとに出向き、重ねて相談した。

一、同月二十日、御家中の家計願いの件につき、左記の通り御書付をもって仰せ出された。

御家中で家計が立ち行かない面々が願い申し上げる件について、先ずは御取り上げはしないところ、その頭やその支配から吟味を遂げ、やむを得ない願いであれば追って相達することができれば、それぞれに御取り扱いも仰せ出される。この件は容易でない事柄であるが、格別の御慈悲をもって拝借等を仰せ付けられる件である。然るところ、去年以来家計願いが余りに多くある。もっとも等閑な件はないはずであるが、近年仰せ出しもあったところ、十分に勘弁も行き届かないようにも見え、一方で如何なものかと思われる。向後このような願いがますます多くなり、やむを得ず何様の仰せ出しもあるかもしれない。甚だ御不便に思し召されるので、必至のところはますます委細に吟味を遂げるべきである。

1. On March 13th, regarding the announcement made to the rōjū (senior councilors) attending His Retired Excellency by Lord Nishio Oki-no-kami Tadanao on the first day of this month, a letter was sent to Edo to offer congratulations.

1. On the 18th of the same month, Chief Retainer Sakai Geki Tomotaka went to meet with Inspector Nakayama Gorōzaemon Tokiyō regarding the oath concerning monthly palanquin service, and consulted with him again.

1. On the 20th of the same month, the following written directive was issued regarding financial assistance requests from retainers:

Regarding the requests submitted by retainers whose household finances cannot be sustained: Initially, such requests are not approved. However, if after examination by their supervisors or administrators, the request is deemed unavoidable and properly communicated, appropriate measures will be ordered for each case. While these matters are not easily resolved, loans and other assistance are granted through special compassion. However, since last year, there have been too many financial assistance requests. While none should be trivial matters, there have been recent directives issued, yet proper consideration does not seem to reach everywhere, which appears problematic in various ways. If such requests continue to increase in the future, unavoidably requiring various directives, this would be most inconvenient to His Lordship. Therefore, for truly urgent cases, even more detailed examination should be conducted.
