巧みな筆使いでなければどうして天地間の
万物を創造することがここまでできようか。今また
この書物を版木に彫るといって私に序文を求めるので
戯れに子供たちのために手引きをすることである。

Without skillful brushwork, how could one possibly
create all things between heaven and earth to this extent? Now again,
when asked to write a preface for carving this book into woodblocks,
I playfully provide guidance for children.
