今般之地震に付寺院社家等より
市中の者共え施行差遣
奇特の廉を以御称有之候向も
御座候由其身如法之故を以
御称の儀は相除市中の者共え
施遣候廉而已にて銀子被下
又は御誉被置候分一二例
御書抜御貰申度此段御引合仕候

現代語訳
今回の地震に関して、寺院や社家などから
市中の者たちへ施しを行い、
奇特な行為として御称賛があった向きも
ございますが、その身分が正当であることを理由として
御称賛の件は除外し、市中の者たちへ
施しを行った件のみで銀子を下賜される
または御誉めを賜った分について、一、二の例を
御書き抜きいただきたく、この段お伺いいたします。

Regarding the recent earthquake, temples and shrine families
provided relief to the people in the city,
and there were those who received official commendation
for their admirable deeds. However, excluding the matter of
commendation based on their legitimate status,
we would like you to extract one or two examples
of cases where silver money was granted
or praise was bestowed solely for providing
relief to the people in the city. We respectfully inquire about this matter.
