一、サカ殿橋の左は辰巳から戌亥へ渡す。また右は丑寅から未申へ渡す。いずれも戌亥の方角を頭にして馬を引き向ける。
一、鳥居外は東は左馬、西は右馬である。キリ芝一番左、また右も西である。順次、左の乗尻の後に左馬引き、またその後に右馬引き、またその後に右の乗尻となる。御幣の後は左右共に新宮殿前からホソ殿橋へ渡る。
一、馬場末はまた東が左馬、西が右馬で、南に一番馬がいずれも

1. For the horse number arrangement, within the bathhouse area, east is left horses, west is right horses. As for the inner arrangement, southeast is left horses, north is right horses, with about five horses remaining inside.
1. For Saka Palace Bridge, the left side crosses from southeast (tatsu-mi) to northwest (inu-i). Also, the right side crosses from northeast (ushi-tora) to southwest (hitsuji-saru). In all cases, the horses are led facing toward the northwest (inu-i) direction.
1. Outside the torii gate, east is left horses, west is right horses. Kiri-shiba first left, and right is also west. In sequence: after the left rider comes the left horse handler, then after that the right horse handler, then after that the right rider. After the ritual wands (gohei), both left and right cross from in front of the New Shrine Hall to Hoso Palace Bridge.
