○御徒目付役被仰付候者是迄三石御加増都合拾八石三人扶持に被成下候へ共
以来は役中三石御足充行被下転役之節は不被下置候事

御目付
○御徒目付役に任命された者については、これまで三石の加増で合計十八石三人扶持を支給してきたが、今後は役職中の三石の足し扶持のみを支給し、転役の際は支給しないこと

○趣意があり、別紙の通り申し渡す。それぞれ取り計らうこと。組支配のある面々は各々から申し伝えること

一、現在の諸下代の者を諸組の内へ増員として配属するが、勤務については現在の者たちをそのまま従来通り勤務させること
一、今後の下代勤務については、諸組の内から人選により出役を命じること
右の通り申し付けるので、十分に精励して勤務すること。その勤務成績次第で昇進させること

右の割増入を申し付けたところ、別紙の通り割り方が出来上がったので、同二十七日にそれぞれの頭々を月番長谷部小右衛門宅へ招き、引き渡しの件を申し伝えた。また御奉行月番梶川半兵衛方へ、諸下代の者は明日二十八日にそれぞれの頭々へ向かうよう伝達した。

Inspector (Metsuke)
○ Regarding those appointed to the role of ashigaru inspector (okachi-metsuke): Previously they received an increase of three koku, totaling eighteen koku and support for three retainers, but henceforth only three koku supplementary stipend will be provided during their term of office, and nothing will be provided upon transfer to other positions.

○ There is a directive, which is announced as per the attached document. Handle accordingly. Those with group supervision responsibilities shall communicate this through their respective channels.
Attached Document:
1. Current deputy officials (shiro-dai) are to be assigned as additional personnel to various groups, but their duties shall continue as before with the current personnel.
2. Henceforth, deputy service shall be assigned through personnel selection from within the various groups.
The above is hereby ordered. Serve with utmost diligence. Promotion will be granted according to performance.

October 20th
Following the order for increased assignments as above, the allocation method was completed as per the attached document. On the 27th, the respective leaders were invited to the residence of monthly duty officer Hasebe Koemon to communicate the handover. Additionally, the deputy officials were informed through magistrate monthly duty officer Kajikawa Hanbei that they should report to their respective leaders on the 28th.
