現代語訳
○国元での御供の仕着類について、これまで代銀を渡していた分については、今後は着用と返納を命じることになった。ただし、着用する者たちが次々と願い出により、これまでの銀高から二割減で代銀を渡すことが命じられたので、その旨を申し渡すこと。
別紙
○今回の国元滞在中、駕籠かきが一人不足しているが、五里以内については代替者なしで勤めているため、一人分の仕着代を増額して下賜し、また紛失補償として銀七十匁を今年限りで下賜するので、申し合わせて精進するよう申し渡すこと。
御広敷御用人
○大奥女中への年中餅米支給の件について先日命じられたが、内願の趣旨が道理に適っているため、これまで通りに支給すること。ただし江戸でも十二月十日にこの件が申し出られている。
一、先日申し出られた節約により、諸々の下賜物をすべて六分の一減額することが命じられたので、その旨をそれぞれに申し聞かせること。
十一月九日

○浪人で押し込み強盗のような者が徘徊した場合は厳しく取り扱うよう先日も申し出られており、いよいよ理由なく心得、その場に留め置き早急に報告すること。抵抗した場合は傷つけたり即死させても構わない。もし軽率な扱いがあった場合は家主はもちろん、向かい三軒両隣も過失となること。
一、町家において茶屋のような者が多くなり、みだらなことも聞こえ風儀がよろしくないこと。

○Regarding ceremonial clothing for retainers in the home domain: for items that previously received monetary compensation, henceforth wearing and returning will be ordered. However, as the wearers have successively petitioned for a 20% reduction from the previous silver amount for monetary compensation, this shall be announced accordingly.

○During the current stay in the home domain, one palanquin bearer is short, but for distances within five ri, duties are being performed without substitutes. Therefore, one person's clothing allowance will be increased and granted, and as compensation for loss, 70 momme of silver will be granted for this year only. They should coordinate and apply themselves diligently as announced.
Deputy of the Interior Palace
○Regarding the annual distribution of rice for rice cakes to ladies-in-waiting of the Great Interior, which was previously ordered: since the reasoning of their internal petition is sound, it shall be granted as before. However, this matter was also announced in Edo on December 10th.
1. Due to the austerity measures previously announced, all various grants shall be reduced by one-sixth, so this shall be communicated to each party accordingly.
November 9th
Town and Four Districts Magistrate
○Regarding masterless samurai of the robber type who wander about: handle them strictly as previously announced. Without fail, detain them on the spot and report immediately. If they resist, it is acceptable to wound or kill them instantly. If there is any negligent handling, not only the house owner but also the three houses across and both neighbors will be held accountable.
1. In townhouses, there are many of the teahouse type, and immoral activities are heard of, making customs improper.

○Should masterless samurai of the robber type wander into the retainer quarters: handle them strictly as previously announced. Without fail, be mindful, and if they resist, it is acceptable to wound or kill them instantly.
1. Recently, improper customs have been heard of at townhouses, teahouses, and such places.
The above matters shall be strictly ordered to all retainers down to the lowest ranks.

○In recent years, many of the teahouse type have appeared in townhouses, and immoral activities are heard of, making customs improper. Officials shall frequently patrol and order strict control.

○Due to the above separate record being announced, on the following 12th day, group leaders and others were each strictly notified.
