ただし二千両までは担保なしで調達すること。三千両以上を申し付けられた際は、担保として通用手形をお渡しになること。

○今回、財政向けの制度改革が申し渡されたことに付き、寛政五年丑年の例に従って、加賀国粟ヶ崎の木屋藤左衛門にもお頼みになった。そなたたち組合の調達向けの用務を申し付ける。なお詳細については支配頭・奉行から申し聞かせるであろう。
木屋藤左衛門
取次 越中屋次左衛門
○粗々承知の通り、従来から財政向けが思うようにならず、特に近年は次々と臨時の出費が重なり、諸借金が嵩んでますます支障をきたし、やむを得ず今度諸借財をすべてお頼み延期し、改めて取り締まることとなった。このため詳細を先だって小野清兵衛を以って申し入れ、さらに繰り金並びに内意の趣旨について示談に及んだところ、格別に誠意ある受書等を差し越され、一同感悦し、則ち申し達したところ大変ご満足・ご安心され、いよいよ請書の通り励んでくださるようお頼みになった。詳細については奉行中から申し談じることがあろう。これに付き別紙の通りに下される。

十一月二十九日
別紙の通り心得るべし。右の趣旨を申し聞かせ、御用人・御目付が然るべき向きにはその段を申し渡すこと。
江戸において
一、万一御屋敷内で大災害があった節は、御門所の出入りについては従来の御定めの通りである。もっとも公儀の御役方の衆が来越された際は遅滞なくお通し申すべきである。しかしながら総じて火消人数については、小火又は過半消し止められる場合は、その趣を御役方へお断り申し、火消人数は立ち入らないよう筋よく御断り申し述べるよう取り扱うこと。
一、御近火で風向きが悪い節は、御役方の衆中が来越され火消人数を繰り入れるべきである。そのような節は遅滞なく通すこと。
一、御一門様並びに外々様から手当てのために差し越される人数については、これまでの通り遅滞なく通すこと。

○ This time, as financial system reforms have been announced, following the precedent of the 5th year of Kansei (Ox year), Kiya Tōzaemon of Awagasaki in Kaga Province has also been requested. You and your consortium are hereby assigned procurement duties. Further details will be communicated by the Chief Administrator and Magistrates.

○ As you are roughly aware, the financial situation has long been unsatisfactory, and particularly in recent years, unexpected expenses have accumulated one after another, debts have mounted, and obstacles have increased. Unavoidably, this time all debts are being requested for extension and will be newly regulated. Therefore, details were previously communicated through Ono Seibei, and further negotiations were conducted regarding revolving funds and confidential matters. Exceptionally sincere written agreements were submitted, and everyone was delighted. When this was reported, there was great satisfaction and relief, and we were earnestly requested to work diligently as promised in the agreements. Details will be discussed by the magistrates. Accordingly, the following separate document is granted:

The above separate document should be understood. The above matters are to be communicated, and the Chamberlain and Inspector shall announce this to appropriate parties.
In Edo:
1. In the event of a major disaster within the mansion grounds, entry and exit at the gate shall follow previous regulations. However, when officials from the Shogunate arrive, they must be allowed passage without delay. Generally, regarding firefighting personnel, if it is a small fire or one that is mostly extinguished, this should be reported to the officials, and firefighting personnel should be politely declined entry.
1. In case of nearby fires with unfavorable wind direction, officials will arrive and firefighting personnel should be deployed. In such cases, passage must be allowed without delay.
1. Regarding personnel sent as assistance from branch families and other outside parties, they shall be allowed passage without delay as before.
