○米町市場手形商之儀前々ゟ有之候処明和八卯年〆り役両人被仰付諸事立合
之儀御米問屋へ被仰付口銭銀米高百俵に付売買弐分つヽ上納被仰付其後〆り役
三人に被仰付此節迄三人に而相勤然処口銭銀之儀寛政十一未年御趣法に付米百
俵に付売買壱匁つヽ上納被仰付候処一時に相増候而は難儀之趣願之上売口買口に而
四匁つヽ上納被仰付是迄上納致来候処今般御趣意被相改市場〆り役共三人御免被成
御米問屋共立合申儀も被指免候且又口銭銀取立是迄米高に付上納被仰付候へ共
右上納は被相止候依之以後米仲人数被相定株札被仰付候間吟味之上可被相渡候
尤仲株人数相極候に付毎年商之俵数に不拘為冥加銀壱ヶ年銀百枚つヽ并会
所入用墨筆代之方へ銀弐百六拾匁都合四〆五百六拾匁上納被仰付候間月割を以毎

御奉行
○米町市場手形商の件について、以前から存在していたが、明和八年（卯年）に締役二人が任命され、諸事立ち合いの件は御米問屋に命じられ、口銭銀は米高百俵につき売買二分ずつ上納することが命じられた。その後締役三人に任命され、この時まで三人で勤めていた。ところが口銭銀の件について、寛政十一年（未年）の御趣法により米百俵につき売買一匁ずつ上納することが命じられたが、一時に増額するのは困難との願い出により、売口買口で四匁ずつ上納することが命じられ、これまで上納してきた。このたび御趣意が改められ、市場締役三人は免職となり、御米問屋らの立ち合いの件も免除された。また口銭銀取り立ても、これまで米高に応じて上納することが命じられていたが、この上納は停止された。よって今後は米仲人数を定め、株札を交付するので、吟味の上で交付すべきである。
もっとも仲株人数が決まったので、毎年商いの俵数に関係なく、冥加銀として一年につき銀百枚ずつ、並びに会所入用墨筆代として銀二百六十匁、合計四千五百六十匁の上納が命じられた。月割りで毎月銀三百八十匁ずつ取り立てるべきである。なお市場締め方の件については、以前から定められた掟通り厳重に守り、不実の取り扱いがないよう、毎月詳細に勘定を行い、月庄屋・年行司等あらゆることを厳重に取り扱うべき旨が申し渡され、締め方連印証文を取り置くべきことである。

一、市場締役が廃止されたので、今後は御奉行組の者一人が毎月三日・八日の夕七時から暮れ時まで詰め、その日の仕切りの様子を詳細に帳面に記録し、変わったことがあれば御勘定所へ申し達するように申すべきである。
一、会所において茶・たばこ・盆以外は出してはならない。いかなる理由があっても酒・菓子等の類は決して出してはならない。

○Regarding the rice town market certificate merchants, while this system had existed previously, in Meiwa 8 (Year of the Rabbit), two supervisors were appointed, and all joint affairs were assigned to the official rice wholesalers. A commission fee of 2 bu per 100 bags of rice for buying and selling was ordered to be paid. Later, three supervisors were appointed and continued to serve until this time. However, regarding the commission fees, in Kansei 11 (Year of the Sheep), due to the official reform policy, 1 monme per 100 bags of rice for buying and selling was ordered to be paid. Since a sudden increase would cause hardship, upon petition, 4 monme each for selling and buying was ordered to be paid, which has been submitted until now. This time, the official policy has been revised: the three market supervisors are dismissed, and the joint participation of official rice wholesalers is also exempted. Additionally, the collection of commission fees, which had been ordered based on rice quantities, is now discontinued. Therefore, henceforth, the number of rice brokers will be determined and stock certificates will be issued after examination.
Since the number of broker stocks has been fixed, regardless of the annual number of bags traded, an annual offering of 100 silver pieces, plus 260 monme for meeting house expenses including ink and brush costs, totaling 4,560 monme, is ordered to be paid. This should be collected monthly at 380 monme per month. Furthermore, regarding market supervision, the previously established regulations must be strictly observed without any improper handling. Monthly detailed accounting must be conducted, and monthly headmen, annual magistrates, and all other matters must be handled with utmost strictness. A joint signature document regarding supervision methods should be kept on file.
