○御趣法を以御家中小身之面々武具修覆料拝借銀被仰付旨に候右に付御自
分御用掛り被仰付修覆致方厚吟味之上可被取斗候拝借銀高之儀は年々不
同可有之候猶委細は御目付共可被申談候
御目付ゟ御番頭へ無急度左之通物語
○御家中武器修覆之儀御時節柄相調兼可申別而具足等之儀古く損候分修覆
等届兼可申哉右に付此末年々少々つヽ格別之御趣段を以御貸銀被成度乍去大勢
相願候而も出来兼候に付御金廻之御模様次第拝借被仰付度御趣法有之候猶又相願
申度者有之候はヽ御武具支配へ申談候様との儀に有之候此段御心得に得御意候御番
組之面々心得に筆頭共へも御序に御咄御座候様仕度事
掛り之面々御家中ゟ承調候はヽ可申聞覚
○今度御趣法之儀は御家中武器格別御手厚に被成度趣に候へ共御時節柄御手当無
之候而は難相調儀 上にも御物入差湊御難渋之御時節に付左様にも被成兼依之
年々少分つヽ御貸銀之御趣法有之候へ共人数多相成候而は難出来に付年々弐拾
人程つヽへ御貸銀之積りに有之候旨御貸方前後之儀無拠向江追々以御取扱
可被成段可申聞事

但武器之内にも当時は先具足之方ゟ取掛り以後具足類相残候上外武器へも取
掛り候様にとの御事に御座候
一武器出来候上平日火災等心配仕候而相願候者も候はヽ 上へ御預り可被成尤何時に而も
修覆又は虫干等之節は勝手次第御下ヶ可被成候事
一能品々追而振替申度儀も勝手次第之事
一拝借不致当時所持之品たり共火災等之儀に付御預ヶ相願候儀も随分出来可
申哉之事
一壱人へ銀何程無利十年賦上納に而拝借被仰付其金子に面々足し金等を以繕候歟
又は新規に相求候而成共存寄次第之事
右等之趣共承候者へは申聞候而相願候者へは拝借之儀模様次第に御貸可被成哉

附正月廿日御奉行申聞候は旧冬ゟ御内評有之候御武具傷御修覆金之儀去ル

○藩の財政制度により、家中の下級武士たちの武具修理費用として拝借銀を下賜することが決定された。ついては、あなたが専任担当者として任命されるので、修理方法について十分に検討した上で取り扱うこと。拝借銀の金額については年々変動があろう。詳細については目付らと相談すること。
目付から番頭への重要な申し伝え：
○家中の武器修理について、時勢柄調達が困難であり、特に具足などは古くなって損傷した分の修理が行き届かないであろう。そこで今後は年々少しずつ、格別の制度により貸付銀を行いたいが、多数が申請しても対応できないため、藩の財政状況に応じて拝借を許可したいという制度がある。また申請したい者がいれば武具支配へ相談するよう伝えること。この件について心得として番組の面々にも適宜話すこと。
担当者が家中から相談を受けた場合の心得：
○今回の制度は家中の武器について格別に手厚く対応したい意向であるが、時勢柄手当がなければ調達困難である。上もお金が必要で財政困窮の時節のため、そのような対応も困難であるため、年々少額ずつの貸付制度となっている。ただし人数が多くなっては実現困難なため、年々20人程度ずつへの貸付を予定している。貸付の前後の手続きについては、やむを得ない場合には順次取り扱うこと。

ただし武器の中でも当面はまず具足から取り掛かり、以後具足類が完了した上で他の武器にも取り掛かるということである。
一、武器完成後、平時の火災等を心配して預かりを願い出る者がいれば、上で預かることとする。いつでも修理または虫干し等の際は自由に下げ渡すこと。
一、良品を後で交換したい件も自由とすること。
一、拝借しなくても現在所持している品でも、火災等について預かりを願う件も十分可能であること。
一、一人に銀何程かを無利息十年分割納付で拝借を許可し、その金子に各々足し金等を加えて修繕するか、または新規に購入するかは考え次第のこと。
右等の趣旨を聞いた者には申し伝え、願い出る者には拝借について状況次第で貸し付けることとする。
二月六日
付記：正月二十日、奉行の申し伝えでは、昨冬から内々に検討していた武具修理金の件について、去る十六日に家老中から指図があったので、別紙の通り取り扱うことになった旨を承知するよう申し伝えられたため記録しておく。

Important message from inspectors to unit commanders:
○Regarding repairs of military weapons in the household guard, procurement is difficult due to current circumstances, and particularly for armor and such, repairs of old and damaged items may not be adequately addressed. Therefore, from now on, we wish to provide lending silver annually in small amounts through a special system. However, since we cannot accommodate large numbers of applicants, we have a system to grant borrowing according to the domain's financial situation. If anyone wishes to apply, tell them to consult with the Arms Administrator. Please also mention this matter to members of your units when appropriate.
Guidelines when supervisors receive consultations from household guard members:
○This system aims to provide exceptionally generous support for household guard weapons, but without provisions given current circumstances, procurement is difficult. The higher authorities also need money and face financial difficulties, making such measures difficult. Therefore, we have a system of small annual loans. However, since it would be impossible with too many people, we plan to lend to about 20 people annually. Regarding procedures before and after lending, handle them sequentially when unavoidable.

However, among weapons, we will first begin with armor, and after armor is completed, we will proceed to other weapons.
1. After weapons are completed, if someone worries about fires etc. in peacetime and requests storage, the authorities will store them. They may be returned at any time for repairs or airing, etc.
1. Exchanging good items later is also freely permitted.
1. Even for items currently possessed without borrowing, requesting storage due to fire concerns is fully possible.
1. Whether to lend a certain amount of silver to one person interest-free with ten-year installment payments, and use that money with additional funds for repairs, or purchase new items, is up to individual judgment.
Convey these points to those who hear them, and for those who apply, lending will be provided according to circumstances.

Note: On January 20th, the magistrate reported that regarding military equipment repair funds that had been under internal consideration since last winter, instructions were given by the senior councilors on the 16th, so arrangements were made as per the separate document. This was conveyed for acknowledgment, so it is recorded here.
