抑富士の御山は衆岳の宗
日乃本の柱礎にして殊に
霊験日月に等し然るに此度
御山の地名神代の昔に
あらためしを諸人に知らし
めんかために図を以てすと云云

現代語訳

そもそも富士の御山は、すべての山々の主であり、日本の柱と土台である。とりわけその霊験は太陽と月に匹敵するほどである。今回、この御山の地名を神代の昔のものに改めたことを、人々に知らせるために図を用いて示すということである。
