現代語訳
一 文化九年十二月、相模国勤番の開始にあたり新規の事項もあったが、諸事に心を配り精を出して適切に勤務したため、褒美として麻の上下の代わりに晒一反を下賜された。
一 同月、郷右衛門と改名したい旨を願い出て、許可された。
一 文化十年三月、勤番のため江戸表へ赴き、同年十月に帰国した。
一 同年九月、初陣であったが精を出して勤務した旨が申し渡された。
一 文化十二年十二月、急な参府に際して御供として立ち帰って江戸へ赴いたところ、江戸に留め置かれ、上京の御供の準備を命じられた。
一 同月、御供の用事および道中ともに準備の用事を精を出して勤務した旨が申し渡された。
一 文化十三年正月、上京の際に船手勤を命じられた。

- In the 12th month of Bunka 9 (1812), at the beginning of guard duty in Sagami Province, although there were new matters to handle, he attended to all affairs with care and worked diligently, so he was rewarded with one roll of bleached cloth in place of hemp formal wear.

- In the 3rd month of Bunka 10 (1813), he went up to Edo for guard duty and returned in the 10th month of the same year.
