大清は、すなわち現在の中国の国号である。皇帝の本国は韃靼（モンゴル・満州地域）であるため、大明時代の風俗を改めた。この理由により、二国の図を分けて古今の風俗の違いを示している。二京十三道の行政区分や文字、経書・史書、学問の方法については、前王朝に従って変更していない。

The Great Qing is the current name of China. Since the emperor's homeland is Tartary (the Mongol-Manchu regions), they reformed the customs of the Great Ming period. For this reason, the illustrations of the two countries are separated to show the differences between ancient and modern customs. However, regarding the administrative divisions of two capitals and thirteen provinces, writing systems, classical texts and historical records, and scholarly methods, no changes were made from the previous dynasty.
