ジャワは中国の西南方に位置する遠い国である。大変暑い国で、四季の寒暑の順序が中国や日本などの国とは正反対で、大いに異なっている。現在日本に来ているオランダ人が居住するジャカルタも、この国の北端にある。そのため別に人物を図示しない。北極は見えず、南極地を出ること6度または7度である。
