ポーランド（ボロニア）はヨーロッパの内でオランダの東にある大変寒い国である。この国の人々は礼儀正しく温和な風俗を持ち、国中に全く盗賊がいない。普段から盗賊がいることを知らない。国王と大臣は古来の国法を守って少しも変更することがないという。またこの国の東南、インドの西の境に当たってユダヤという国がある。六千年以前に聖人がいて国法を立てた。その記録は今に至るまで失うことなく、国王・大臣がその記録を守って国政を執り行い、過ちを犯すことがないという。まことにこれらの国々は豊かな土地であるということだ。

Polonia (Boronia) is a very cold country located to the east of Holland within Europe. The people of this country have courteous and gentle customs, and there are absolutely no bandits throughout the nation. They do not even know of the existence of bandits in their daily lives. The king and ministers preserve the ancient national laws without making any changes whatsoever. Also, to the southeast of this country, at the western border of India, there is a country called Judea. Six thousand years ago, a sage established the national laws there. Those records have been preserved without loss to this day, and the king and ministers guard those records while governing the country without making any errors. Truly, these countries are said to be lands of abundance.
