Tenmei 1 (Kanoto-Ushi / large month), 8th month, 30th day: ● Fire broke out in Edo-chō 2-chōme. According to popular rumor at the time, it was said to be caused by the vengeful spirit of a courtesan named Sumagoromo.
Tenmei 4 (Kinoe-Tatsu / small month), 4th month, 26th day: ● Fire broke out in Ageyachō; the entire quarter burned.
Tenmei 7 (Hinoto-Hitsuji / small month), 11th month, 9th day: ● Fire broke out in Kadochō; same as above (entire quarter burned).
Kansei 6 (Kinoe-Tora / small month), 4th month, 2nd day: ● Fire broke out in Edo-chō 2-chōme; same as above.
