江北（こうほく）から江南（こうなん）のかたへゆくなり。ほんかいどうもあろふが。今こなたおくるところの渡（わた）りは。
ほんかいとうてはないから。行客（こうかく）のゆきゝもすくない。罟師（こし）は漁人（きよじん）なり。臨圻（りんき）は川
岸（きし）のてはつれなり。漁人（きよしん）が舟（ふね）をこひて行水（ゆくみつ）をわたすなり。なこりおしさにあとかけ
を見のそむなり◦さて江南（こうなん）ははるのさいちうで。春色（しゆんしよく）のないところはない。わが相思（そうし）の情（じよう）はくち
でいふてもしるしない。どこもかも春色（しゆんしよく）のあるを見て。わがしやうのかきりないをおもひ
やつてくれられい。こゝろさきへ身（み）はもとるゆへ。送（おくつて）＿レ君（きみを）帰（かへる）とはいふなり

沈子福を江南に送る

楊柳の渡頭に行客稀なり。漁師は槳を盪して臨圻に向かう。
ただ相思の春色に似たるもののみあり。江南江北君を送りて帰る。

やなぎの渡し場に旅人は稀である。漁師は櫂を漕いで川岸に向かう。
ただ恋しく思う気持ちが春の景色に似ているものがあるばかり。
江南江北、君を送って帰る。

江北から江南の方へ行くのである。本街道もあるだろうが、今こちらで送るところの渡しは、
本街道ではないから、行客の行き来も少ない。漁師は漁人のことである。臨圻は川
岸の辺りのことである。漁人が舟を漕いで行く水を渡すのである。名残惜しさに後ろ姿
を見続けるのである。さて江南は春の最中で、春色のないところはない。我が相思の情は口
で言っても効果がない。どこもかしこも春色があるのを見て、我が思いの限りないのを思い
やってくれなさい。心は先へ、身はまだここにいるので、君を送って帰ると言うのである。

Seeing Off Shen Zifu to Jiangnan

At the willow ferry crossing, travelers are few. The fisherman rows his oar toward the riverbank.
Only the longing that resembles spring scenery remains. From north to south of the river, I see you off and return.

He travels from north of the river toward the south. There may be a main highway, but the ferry crossing where we now see him off is not on the main road, so there is little coming and going of travelers. The fisherman is a person who fishes. "Linqi" refers to the area near the riverbank. The fisherman rows his boat to ferry people across the flowing water. Out of reluctance to part, one continues to watch the departing figure. Now, Jiangnan is in the midst of spring, and there is no place without spring scenery. My feelings of longing cannot be expressed adequately in words. Seeing spring scenery everywhere, please understand my boundless feelings. My heart goes ahead while my body remains here, so it is said "seeing you off and returning."
