重々解諭シ御趣意難有相守候様取計可申事

右之通今度被
仰出候御趣意今日御呼懸之上私共へ被仰渡御書付
御渡被遊帰村之上早々一牧之者へ懇に申渡候様被仰付
奉畏兼而郷分之者共ニおゐても関東北国筋凶作
之様子其余諸国津留之風聞等追々承傳一体
飯料大切ニ仕候義心付罷在候場合右様厚
御仁恵之被
仰出下々江申諭候得ハ壱統冥加至極難有奉忝
御趣意を相応シ精々飯料倹約仕可申と奉存候
私共ニおゐても難有仕合奉存候仍而連判を以御
請書指上申候以上

重々説明して、御趣意をありがたく守るよう取り計らうべきこと。

右の通り、今度仰せ出された御趣意について、今日お呼び出しの上、私どもへ仰せ渡された御書付をお渡しいただき、帰村の上、早々に一村の者へ懇切に申し渡すよう仰せ付けられ、畏れ多く存じます。かねてより郷分の者どもにおいても、関東・北国筋の凶作の様子、その他諸国の津留の風聞等を追々承り伝え、一体に飯料を大切にすべき義について心付けておりました場合、このように厚い御仁恵を仰せ出され、下々へ申し諭していただければ、一同冥加至極、ありがたく忝く存じ、御趣意に相応じて、精々飯料の倹約をいたすべきと存じます。私どもにおいても、ありがたい仕合わせと存じます。よって連判をもって御請書を差し上げ申します。以上。

Regarding the above, concerning the honorable intentions that have been proclaimed this time, today we were summoned and given the written directive, and ordered to return to our village and promptly convey [these instructions] earnestly to all the people of the village. We humbly accept this with reverence. We in the rural areas have already been hearing reports about the poor harvests in the Kanto and northern regions, as well as rumors of trade restrictions in various provinces, and have been mindful of the importance of conserving rice. At such a time, with these generous benevolent proclamations being issued and explained to the common people, we all feel extremely blessed and grateful, and believe we should diligently practice rice conservation in accordance with these honorable intentions. We also consider ourselves most fortunate. Therefore, we respectfully submit this written acknowledgment with joint signatures. The above.
