裁許が済み、今日双方に以下の通りの裁許書が渡された。
越前国南条郡千福村・印内村・平出村・北府村・岩永村・高瀬村、丹生郡上太田村・下太田村・新保村・岡本村と、丹生郡小野村・勝蓮花村との山論の件について、十ヶ村の百姓が訴えるには「参剝山において、山元の二ヶ村の者が焼畑を行い、漆や桑を植え立てるため、入会場が狭くなった」と申し立てた。二ヶ村の百姓は答えて「国法により三間に一本ずつ苗木を長年植え立ててきた畑のことであり、これもまた切り替えて作ってきた」と申し立てた。調査を行ったところ、長年苗木を植え立ててきた証拠はなく、十ヶ村から山手銀米を取ってきた参剝山を下ろし山としてきた以上は、今後参剝山入会場において新たな植林や焼畑は一切行ってはならない。この裁許の趣旨を双方に書き下し、後の鑑とするものである。

The judicial decision has been completed, and today the following ruling document was handed down to both parties:
Regarding the mountain dispute between the villages of Chifuku, Innai, Hirade, Kitafu, Iwanaga, and Takase in Nanjō District, and Kamiotata, Shimotata, Shimbo, and Okamoto in Nyū District of Echizen Province, versus Ono and Shōrenge villages in Nyū District:
The peasants of the ten villages filed a complaint stating that "at Sanhaku Mountain, people from the two mountain-base villages have been conducting slash-and-burn farming and planting lacquer trees and mulberry trees, making the common-use area too narrow." The peasants of the two villages responded that "according to provincial law, we have been planting saplings at intervals of three ken [approximately 5.4 meters] for many years on fields that we have also been cultivating through rotation."
Upon investigation, there was no evidence of long-term sapling cultivation. Since Sanhaku Mountain has been treated as an "oroshi-yama" (cleared mountain) from which the ten villages have collected mountain fees in silver and rice, henceforth no new forestation or slash-and-burn farming shall be conducted in the Sanhaku Mountain common-use area. This ruling is written down for both parties and shall serve as a precedent for the future.
