まず鶏鳴以前に神人を催促し、下社も同様に各々忝なくも向かうべき旨を初度の時に
行水及び再住の催促をして束帯を着用し、三度の時に出門する
《割書：神人は松明を取り奉供する》しばらく侍屋において徘徊し、相待って刻限を合わせる
まずこれは御歯固めの神供を兼ねて大床の左右に献じ、別当が準備する

First Month
Order of Ritual Offerings for Opening the Sacred Doors on New Year's Day
First, before cockcrow, urge the shrine attendants (shinjin), and likewise at the lower shrine, each should respectfully proceed as instructed during the first ceremony.
Perform ablutions and the second urging, don court dress, and exit the gate during the third ceremony.
