留守居の村上三大夫（正峯）が出向いて相談したところ、急便を出すよう指図があった
一 閏8月18日、使者松原八左衛門（嘉雄）が江戸城に出向いたところ（昨17日に御用番から留守居まで切紙が来た）、桧之間において御用番秋元但馬守（喬知）殿から御返書を渡された。その際、八左衛門に御時服（三つ）を拝領するよう仰せ付けられた旨を但馬守殿が申し聞かせた。品物は奏者番土井山城守（利意）殿から渡された。その後八左衛門は拝領物の御礼のため老中・側御用人のもとを回って勤めた
一 同月25日、使者松原八左衛門（嘉雄）が御目見を仰せ付けられたことの御礼として、江戸表に御書を差し出した
一 12月2日、寒中の御機嫌伺いの使者浅見徳右衛門（重休）を国許から差し出すという趣旨で、御用番秋元但馬守（喬知）殿のもとに出向き、御書（去る月19日付）を差し出した
一 同月3日、右同様に使者浅見徳右衛門（重休）が江戸城に出向き、御献上の串海鼠一箱を納めた。御側衆保田内膳正殿が後刻披露するであろう旨を申し聞かせた
一 同月4日、先達てから（去る月20日）御不快につき御見舞いのため、吉邦様から御使笹治主鈴（正武）が遣わされ、今日到着につき御目見を仰せ付けられた

1. On the 18th day of intercalary 8th month, messenger Matsubara Hachizaemon (Yoshitaka) went to Edo Castle (a written notice came from the duty officer to the castellan yesterday, the 17th). At the Hinoki-no-ma room, he received a reply letter from duty officer Akimoto Tajima-no-kami (Takatomo). At that time, Tajima-no-kami informed him that Hachizaemon was granted three ceremonial robes. The items were handed over by the court ceremony official Doi Yamashiro-no-kami (Toshioki). Afterwards, Hachizaemon made rounds to the senior councilors and chamberlains to express gratitude for the granted items.
