佐野源左衛門屋敷
中山道から利根川より一里半に佐野村源左衛門常世の屋敷の跡が今でもあり、周囲は六、七間ほどであろうか。その中に常世の産土神である八幡として石の祠がある。その裏に□文殊院とある。雪の段を訪ねる人はこの場所をお通りの際に立ち寄ってご覧ください。

Sano Genzaemon's Residence
One and a half ri from the Tokaido via the Tone River, in Sano village, the ruins of Genzaemon Tsuneyo's residence still exist today. The perimeter is about six or seven ken. Within it stands a stone shrine dedicated to Hachiman, the tutelary deity of Tsuneyo. Behind it is written "□ Monju-in." Those who seek the "Snow Chapter" are invited to stop by and visit when passing through this place.
