御入用（経費）も減少したことにより、褒美として金二分を下し置かれた。
一 同（寛政）八年（辰年）三月、日頃心がけよく勤め、書学寮の御普請にあたっては、自ら費用（寸志等）を出し、精を出して勤めたことにより、二人扶持を下し置かれ、本役と同様に勤めるよう仰せ付けられた。
一 同（寛政）十一年（未年）五月、精を出して勤め、御収入（御入方）の件について心がけ、経費削減（減方）も行ったことにより、褒美として金三分を下し置かれた。

一 同（寛政）十二年（申年）十二月、その年の七月に善藤四郎の居宅が出火した際、古川御茶屋へいち早く駆けつけ、精を出して働いたことが称えられ、仰せ出された。
一 享和二年（戌年）四月、亡父の御擬作のうち一石を減じられ、九石・二人扶持を下し置かれ、小奉行に召し出された。
ただし、これまで下し置かれていた二人扶持は召し上げられた。

— In the third month of the same year, Kansei 8 (Year of the Dragon), as he had diligently attended to his duties on a daily basis, and in connection with the construction works (*ofushin*) at the Shogakuryo (calligraphy/writing academy), he personally contributed funds (*sunshi*) and worked with great diligence. As a result, he was granted a stipend of two-person rations (*futari fuchi*) and was ordered to carry out his duties in the same manner as a full-rank officer (*honraku*).
— In the fifth month of the same year, Kansei 11 (Year of the Sheep), as he had worked with great diligence and given careful attention to the domain's revenues (*o-irikata*), resulting in reductions in expenditure (*genkata*), he was granted three *bu* of gold as a reward.

— In the fourth month of Kyōwa 2 (Year of the Dog), one *koku* was deducted from the *ogisaku* (hereditary stipend adjustment) that had been granted to his late father, leaving him with nine *koku* and two-person rations (*futari fuchi*); he was called up to serve as *kobugyo* (junior magistrate).
Note: The two-person rations that had previously been granted were rescinded.
