この度はお心遣いをいただき、ありがたく存じております。さて、漆の一件につきまして、昨日物産方へ出向き、別紙の通りお取り計らいいただきました。その御書状は都（京都）へお配りになられた写しを拝見いたします。いよいよ明日6日に出発すると申し出ております。ご都合次第で、お帰郷の件をご了承くださいますよう。出向くはずでしたが、円十郎が大坂へ上る件もあり、何かと当月3日も物産方へ出向きましたので、徳兵衛が出向くのがよろしいかと思います。よろしくお取り計らいください。天気次第で芋掘りに出向きます。その際には何かとご相談いたします。円十郎も同様のことと申し上げるよう申しております。末筆ながら、ご家族の皆様によろしくお伝えください。以上

I have seen a copy of the official letter that was distributed to the capital (Kyoto). It has been announced that departure will definitely be tomorrow, the 6th. Please give your approval for the homecoming matter according to your convenience. I was supposed to go myself, but since Enjuro has business going up to Osaka and went to the Bureau of Products on the 3rd of this month for various reasons, I think it would be better for Tokubei to go. Please make appropriate arrangements. Depending on the weather, I will go out for potato digging. At that time, I will consult with you on various matters.
