諸月番（役職名）

○御勝手（藩の財政）が非常に困窮し、支障をきたしているため、昨冬の御直書（藩主直筆の書状）の写しをもって命じられた通り、御大事にも及ぶような重大な時節であるので、今年の丑年から七年間、御勝手の方針を発表する。これに関して格別の頼みがあり、すぐに発表すべきところであるが、銘々の心得にもなることではあるものの、やむを得ない事情があるため、御発駕（藩主の出発）後に表立って発表する。これに関して、供回りや召し使う者たちはできる限り減らすこととする。この節は人事異動の時期でもあるので、この段を申し渡すよう命じられた。

一、二百石に満たない少禄の面々には別段の手当がある。詳細については表立って発表された上で、御奉行たちから連絡する。この段は心得のために申し渡すよう命じられた。
正月二十一日
御目付

○御徒の子弟並びに御坊主の子弟が召し出されても、親の跡職に就任させず、別家とならないという旨を去る七月に発表した通りである。ところが末端では理解しきれない様子も聞こえる。右の発表以後に召し出された者から、今後は改めることになったので、そのように心得るよう御奉行たちへ自分から申し聞かせるべきである。もちろん御徒総支配へも申し聞かせるべきである。

○格別の時節により、先だってから次々と発表されている通りである。これに関して私どもの役職は以前から失却が多くあるため、定額に定められ小者給等を支給されているが、今般御勝手の方針が立てられることになったため、お気の毒には思われるが、やむを得ず別紙の通り発表されるので、そのように心得るべき旨
ただし彦右衛門については、それぞれ申し聞かせるべき旨

別紙
一、御中老・御傅役・御用人・御小姓・表御小姓たちの定例の御供を免除する。これにより定額を廃止する。
一、小者給については先だって半減となったところ、拝借等を命じられたが、今度は拝借を廃止し、近年定められた金額に決める。右金額のうち六百石以上は三分の一減額、五百石以下は四分の一減額とする。なお詳細については御奉行たちから通達がある。

一、これまで御加増・御定高を支給する際には百石・五十石ずつ支給していたが、今後はその数に満たなくても勤功により支給することとする。ただし御切米・御合力も同様とする。

右の持馬を免除する。これに関して御役料五十石ずつを支給する。もちろん現在勤めている者はこれまで通りとする。

Various Monthly Duty Officers

○Due to the critical financial difficulties (okatte) of the domain causing serious disruptions, as commanded through copies of the direct letter (chokusho) from last winter, since we are in such grave times that could affect major domain affairs, the financial policy for the next seven years starting from this year of the Ox is hereby announced. There are particular requests regarding this matter, and it should be announced immediately, but while this would serve as guidance for everyone, due to unavoidable circumstances, it will be announced publicly after the lord's departure. Regarding this, attendants and servants should be reduced as much as possible. Since this is also the season for personnel changes, this matter is to be communicated as ordered.

1. For those with small stipends of less than 200 koku, there will be special allowances. Details will be communicated by the magistrates after the public announcement. This matter is to be communicated for your information as ordered.

○Regarding the announcement made last July that children of foot soldiers (ashigaru) and monk attendants, even when summoned to service, will not succeed to their parents' positions and will not become branch families - it seems that this is not fully understood at lower levels. From those summoned after the aforementioned announcement, this will be changed from now on, so the magistrates should be informed of this understanding directly. Of course, the general supervisor of foot soldiers should also be informed.

However, regarding Hikoemon, he should inform each respective party.

1. The regular attendance duties of Senior Counselors, Tutors, Chamberlains, Pages, and Public Pages are exempted. Accordingly, the fixed stipends are abolished.
1. Regarding servant allowances, which were previously halved, borrowing allowances were granted, but now borrowing is abolished and limited to the amounts established in recent years. Of these amounts, those with 600 koku or more will have a one-third reduction, and those with 500 koku or less will have a one-fourth reduction. Further details will be communicated by the magistrates.
