現代語訳

李回を送る

君の官が大司農に属することを知る。詔により驪山に行幸され、職事は盛んである。年々金銭を発して御府に供し、昼は仙液が離宮に注がれるのを見る。千の巌に曙の雪が旌門の上にあり、十月の寒花が輦路の中にある。声名と文物を見ることができず、自ら傷ましく思う、留滞して関東を去ることを。

李司農丞（かんじょうのしたやく）となる。さても君の官は大司農（かんしょうぶきょう）に属する（したやく）することを知る。この度詔があって驪山に行幸される。よって人民の部役を割り付けられる職事は、えこひいきなく清潔で雄々しい。第一句に応じて、年々金銭を発して御府（おくら）に供せられ、昼は日々と云うこと（日々）仙液（湯の湧く）を華清宮（せいきゅう）と云う離宮に筧（かけひ）で注ぎ取るのを見るのであろう。千の巌（多くの岩）に曙の雪の光が旗を建て並べた仮門の上に映すであろう。十月なれども咲き残りし寒花が輦路（くるま道）の中にあるのを見ながら、お供をいたすのであろう。こちらは遠国の新郷県に勤めて、都の声名（旗や輿の鑾の鈴の音）また衣服の文物（模様）を見ることもできない。自ら傷ましく存ずる、留滞し去って関東にあることを。

Seeing Off Li Hui

I know that your official position belongs to the Grand Minister of Agriculture. By imperial edict, there is a royal visit to Li Mountain, and official duties are flourishing. Year after year, gold and silver are disbursed to supply the imperial treasury. During the day, one watches the immortal springs flow into the detached palace. On a thousand crags, dawn snow appears above the banner gates, and in the tenth month, cold flowers bloom along the imperial carriage road. Unable to see the reputation and cultural refinements, I myself feel sorrowful about remaining and departing from the eastern provinces.

Li becomes Assistant Minister of Agriculture (deputy of the treasury). Now, knowing that your official position is subordinate to the Grand Minister of Agriculture (Minister of Treasury). This time there is an imperial edict for a royal visit to Li Mountain. Therefore, the official duties of allocating corvée labor to the people are impartial, clean, and vigorous. Corresponding to the first verse, year after year gold and silver are disbursed to supply the imperial treasury, and during the day one daily watches the immortal springs (hot springs) flow through bamboo pipes into the detached palace called Huaqing Palace. The light of dawn snow on countless crags will shine upon the temporary gates where banners are erected in rows. Though it is the tenth month, the remaining cold flowers blooming along the carriage road will be seen while accompanying the imperial procession. Here in the distant province of Xinxiang County, one cannot see the capital's fame (the sound of bells on banners and palanquins) or the cultural refinements (patterns) of clothing. I myself feel sorrowful about remaining behind and being in the eastern provinces.
