一同年八月、追鳥狩の際に出席し、獲物を拝領した。
一同年十月、当回の追鳥狩の際、隊列や足並みが格別によく揃い、各隊が連携して運用に滞りがなかった。これは日頃から合同訓練に精励していた成果であると思し召される旨で、仲間一同が御称賛をいただいた。
一同月、御事情の変化により御親衛組を免職となったが、これまで精励して勤務したことにより、綿二把を下賜された。

In the eighth month of the same year, he participated in the hunting expedition (tsuitori-gari) and received game as a reward.
In the tenth month of the same year, during the hunting expedition, the formation and marching were exceptionally well-coordinated, with all units working together smoothly without delay. This was recognized as the result of diligent practice in joint training exercises, and he along with his comrades received praise from his lord.
In the same month, due to changing circumstances, he was released from the Elite Guard unit (go-shin'ei-gumi), but in recognition of his dedicated service up to that point, he was granted two bundles of cotton.
