現代語訳
百石の御加増をいただき、老年に及んでいるので、十分に保養に努め勤務するようにとの旨を、御前にてお言葉がありました。
一、同（文政）十一午年（1828）三月、願い通り当職を御免となり、内願の通り直ちに隠居を仰せ付けられ、家督御知行六百石は相違なく（息子の）忰・十郎右衛門に下し置かれた。また、年来精を出して立派に勤め上げ、十郎右衛門も御小姓の頃より勤めた者であることから、父子への御情けとして御使番を仰せ付けるとの旨が、仰せ出されました。
一、同十二未年（1829）十二月六日、七十二歳にて病死。法名、知勢院恒誉懐渕居士。葬所は同上（前記と同じ）。

He was granted an increase of one hundred koku, and since he had reached old age, it was proclaimed in the lord's presence that he should take good care of himself while continuing his duties.
Item: In the third month of the eleventh year of Bunsei (1828), the Year of the Horse, his request to be relieved of his current post was granted, and in accordance with his private petition, he was immediately ordered into retirement. The family stipend of six hundred koku of assessed land was duly transferred without change to his son Jūrōemon. Furthermore, it was proclaimed that, in recognition of years of diligent and exemplary service, and given that Jūrōemon himself had served since his time as a page (o-koshō), out of paternal consideration for father and son, Jūrōemon was appointed to the post of o-tsukaiban (messenger official).
Item: On the sixth day of the twelfth month of the following year, the twelfth year of Bunsei (1829), the Year of the Ram, he died of illness at the age of seventy-two. Posthumous Buddhist name (hōmyō): Chisei-in Kōyo Kaien Koji. Place of burial: same as above (as previously recorded).
