貴船の谷の者が訴訟のために江戸へ下向することになったため、当地（賀茂社）からも名代が下向するのがよいとのことであった。
一 江戸へ下向させるべき人物は誰がよいかということで、森左馬助（氏考）・右衛門大夫（衆顕）ら三名がよいと決定した。
一 三月八日頃、江戸への御下向の準備のためとして、銀子十枚を惣中より森へ遣わし、左馬助には三枚が渡された。雑掌は実務担当者であるとして銀子は渡されなかったが、その代わりに上下（かみしも）と馬の用意を申し付けたとのことである。
一 三月十一日に、森左馬助・右衛門大夫ら両三名が五味殿のもとへ参上した。江戸へ下向する者たちはこの三名であるとして、万事内々に取り扱われた。
一 同十三日に、五味殿が江戸へ下向されるにあたり、餞別として御祓・樽・種々の品々を惣中より送った。
一 同二十七日の巳の刻（午前十時頃）、森左馬助・右衛門大夫ら三名が江戸へ出発した。道中および江戸での事々については別紙に記す。
一 江戸へ下向した日から上洛（京都へ戻る）の日まで、御奉行またはこの度の三名のために、旅の安全祈祷として神前で中臣祓を誦すべきとのことで、二十八日より精進頭、あるいは誰もが祈祷のために誦願することとなった。これを申し出たのは左兵衛佐である。この祓の間に御供米・御酒の奉加が行われた。

The people of Kibune Valley were going down to Edo to pursue a lawsuit, and it was therefore deemed appropriate that a representative from this location (Kamo Shrine) should also travel down to Edo.
- It was decided that the persons to be sent down to Edo should be Mori Samanosuke (Ujitaka) and Uemon-no-tayū (Shūken), along with a third person, making three in total.
- Around the 8th day of the 3rd month, in preparation for the journey down to Edo, ten silver pieces (ginsu) were sent from the collective (sōchū) to Mori, with three pieces allotted to Samanosuke. The administrative officer (zōshō) was not given silver coins as he was considered a functionary, but instead was provided with formal attire (kamishimo) and a horse.
- On the 11th day of the 3rd month, Mori Samanosuke, Uemon-no-tayū, and the other members of the group appeared before Lord Gomi. It was confirmed that these three were the ones to travel to Edo, and all matters were handled in a private, informal manner.
- On the 13th day of the same month, as Lord Gomi was departing for Edo, the collective (sōchū) sent him farewell gifts including a ritual purification wand (o-harae), a barrel (of sake), and various other items.
- On the 27th day of the same month, at the Hour of the Snake (approximately 10:00 a.m.), Mori Samanosuke, Uemon-no-tayū, and the three men departed for Edo. The details of their journey and their activities in Edo are recorded on a separate document.
- From the day of departure to Edo until the day of return to Kyoto, it was decided that the Nakatomi Harae (a Shinto purification ritual) should be recited before the deity for the safety of the magistrate (go-bugyō) and the three men on their journey. Beginning from the 28th day, the head of ritual fasting (shōjingashira) and others were invited to recite the prayers. This request was made by Sabyōe-no-suke. During this purification ritual, offerings of rice and sacred sake were made.
