地震各地の揺れ具合について
一、この揺れ苦労と申す者は、生まれつき信濃国生須の荘揺初村出身にて、確かなぐらつき者につき、荒魔ともに失せ人となり、異変方面へ諸方面に揺り出し申し候ところ、滅亡なり。出火の件は当卯十月二日夜より翌三日午の下刻まで相定め、困窮人繁昌のうち潰れ家を御掘り返しとして、死人三分確かに投げ込み申し候。御敷設の件は、鯰はひどいもので、不意の火の粉が一面に降らされるでしょう。
一、土蔵義様御発動の件は、燃やすに及ばず、お家の不作法が相揺るぎ申すまじく候。
一、もしこの者が地震の御目をくらまし、御台所の女中方の寝入りを考え、肝心な穴目の所を見込み、火の子を燃やし、かりばりの丸太を突っ張り、内証の地震を致し、御大切なる御入れ物を損じ候て揺り逃げ、壁落ち致し候わば、急度したる左官を以て早速塗り上げ申すべく候。
一、身内は痛い痛い、一向夢中にて、寺は夜中揺り出し、坂道性寺、市中まっ裸騒動院、大火に紛れ、ご座なく候。ご発動の揺り支え、丹宗にては無ご座なく候。もし物音がしつき響き合いより瓦を降らし、万一揺り久しき等致し候わば、我等早速揺るぎ出で御殿へ少しも木苦労相かけ申すまじく、五七か雨降って普段の如し。
