志摩（通称：洪）をはじめとする家老、その他の者たちに朱印状を直接お渡しになった。その後、大広間において家中の知行を賜った面々すべてに同様に朱印状をお渡しになり、奏者番が取り次いだ。
一、正月六日 泉蔵院をはじめとする菩提寺からの年始の御礼をお受けになった。
一、同月七日 諸町人からの年始の御礼をお受けになった。
一、同日 将軍家への年始の挨拶として使者を通じて例年通り御肴（鯛）を献上した。
一、同月 すべての寺社からの年始の御礼をお受けになった。
一、同月十一日 年始三が日の諸式典が終了したことの祝儀として江戸表へ使者を派遣し、御肴一種を献上した。

The lord directly bestowed vermillion-sealed documents upon the chief retainers beginning with Shima (Tsūkō) and others. Subsequently, in the great hall, similar documents were presented to all members of the household who had received fiefs, with the ceremony officiated by the shōshaban (masters of ceremony).
1. First month, 6th day: New Year greetings were received from Senzō-in and other mortuary temples.

1. Second month, 1st day: In response to a summons from the rōjū (senior councilors), the envoy who had gone to inquire about sankin attendance received a joint letter from the rōjū stating that sankin should be performed within the fourth month of this year.
1. Same month, 25th day: Envoy Katō Buemon (Shigeyuki) was dispatched to Edo for the monthly wellness inquiry, presenting one type of fish offering. Buemon departed Fukui today.
