結局、（絹の切々は）取られてしまった。それにもかかわらず、今度は取るべき方（受け取るべき担当者）への支配（管理・配分）が行われていない。神主は必ずや取ったと申すべきであろう。言語道断の誤りであり、非例（前例に反すること）であって、後世の例となるべきことではない。
一昨日であろうか、池尻町のケイ左衛門九郎が死去した。享年九十六歳とのことである。当所（この地域）の上下（身分を問わず）に慕われた一和尚（一人の高僧）であった。
去る九月十六日、正遷宮の際の宣命の写し
天皇の詔旨をもって、恐れ多くも賀茂の皇太神の広前に、恐る恐るも申し賜わく、と申す。神社を結構（立派に建て）治める（整える）のは、治れる世の祥瑞（めでたいしるし）である。漸次（徐々に）損じたるを以って、彫玉瑱（彫刻を施した玉石）を居え、楹（柱）を立てて、ことごとく奇麗に作り、明神の重き威霊を輝かし、正殿を経営（建設・整備）して、今、遷宮を催し行わしめる。風雨に動かされることなく、無為・無事に、御意（神のご意志）の如くに成し遂げられるならば、それは皇太神の深き御恵みならびに広き御助けによるものであり……
