雇れ或ハ其事に携り候者の事訴人仕るに
おゐてハ急度御ほうひを可被下たとひ同
類たりといふとも其科をゆるし賃銀礼
銀当申合候員数之一倍可被下之事
附只今迄ぬけ荷仕候者の宿いたし或ハぬけ
取候荷物預り隠し置候もの或ハ手合
仕候ものたりといふとも訴人仕候ハヽ是
又其科をゆるし御褒美被下候事右同
前たるへき事
右之条々急度可相守之若存なから隠し
置外より令露顕者其科本人可為同前者也

近年東海道可被罷通面々中山道往来有之由
現代語訳
たし或いは抜け荷物を仕慣れた者並びに抜け荷物に
雇われ或いはその事に関わった者の事を訴人するに
おいては、きっと御褒美を下されるであろう。たとえ同
類であっても、その科を許し、賃銀礼
銀当申し合わせた員数の一倍を下されること
附 只今まで抜け荷をした者の宿をし或いは抜け
取った荷物を預かり隠し置いた者或いは手合
をした者であっても、訴人すれば、これ
又その科を許し御褒美を下される事は右同
前であるべき事
右の条々をきっと相守るべし。もし知りながら隠し
置き、外より露見させる者は、その科は本人と同前とする者なり

or those who are experienced in smuggling, as well as those employed in smuggling operations or involved in such matters - when reporting such persons, rewards will certainly be granted. Even if they are accomplices, their crimes will be pardoned and they will be given double the amount of wages and礼銀 (reward money) that was agreed upon.
Addendum: Even those who have provided lodging to smugglers up until now, or those who have received and hidden smuggled goods, or those who have acted as intermediaries - if they report such activities, their crimes will likewise be pardoned and rewards will be given, the same as above.
The above articles must be strictly observed. If anyone knowingly conceals information and it is exposed by others, their crime shall be treated the same as the principal offender.
