**Accompanying retinue composition:**
Suegashira (junior lady-in-waiting supervisor): 1 person
Nakai (middle-ranking lady-in-waiting): 1 person
Jōban (chamber attendants): 2 persons
Hange (lower-ranking servants): 4 persons
The above persons were brought along at the time of the entry into the Ō-oku (the Great Interior of Edo Castle).
Note: At the time of entry into the Ō-oku, a written list of tribute items was prepared, along with precedent records from Kan'en 1st year (1748, the year of the Dragon), when the first visit to the Ō-oku was made, detailing tribute and gift items; and also precedent records for tribute and gift items from Hōreki 5th year (1755, the year of the Boar). These were all compiled and presented today to the Lord of Sagami-no-kami by the caretaker (rusuigashira) Tsuda Kuuemon. However, since orders regarding the tribute items had already been issued the previous day, it was stated that there was no longer any need to make inquiries, and the said written documents would be returned—this was conveyed through the steward (yōnin) Kuratsugu Jintayū. Accordingly, on the following day, the 13th, the steward Daidōji Magokurō sent a letter to Ōnuki Tōma, steward of the Senior Chamberlain (o-soba goyōnin) Ōoka Izumo-no-kami, requesting that the tribute items be presented in the same manner as before.
One item: On the 13th day of the 1st month, due to illness (go-fukai), a messenger was sent to the Senior Councilor (rōjū) Hotta Sagami-no-kami (Masasuke), with the caretaker Tsuda Kuuemon (Moriyuki) conveying a written notification (tassho) as listed below.
