一 同日未刻ごろ、目代亭において反田の算合あり（沙汰人の会所と御結鎮銭肝煎とを役す）。
了わり、祝儀の夕飯あり。参集の輩は、沙汰人（三人）・上膳方（二人）・納所方（五人）・小野郷肝煎・御結鎮銭肝煎等なり。なお目代より兼ねての日（二日前）に案内として招請す。よって参集し（上下ともに）、饗応の儀了わり退散す。
右一篇は、予、目代々勤役の節、前輩の所記を参考とし、今時の所行かつ相伝の古実等に至るまで、大概残らず書き記して、もって自家の後勘に便ならしむるものなり。ゆえに同志心友の外は、堅く他見を憚るものなり。

Of the above two versions, which is generally preferable?
One item: On the same day, around the Hour of the Sheep (未刻, approximately 2 p.m.), the calculation verification of the paddy field accounts (反田の算合) was conducted at the residence of the senior deputy administrator (目代亭). (This was performed together by the affairs officer's [沙汰人] assembly hall and the御結鎮銭 supervisor [肝煎].) Upon completion, a celebratory dinner was held. Those who gathered were: the affairs officers (沙汰人, 3 persons), the meal-serving officers (上膳方, 2 persons), the treasury officers (納所方, 5 persons), the Onogō supervisor (小野郷肝煎), the御結鎮銭 supervisor (御結鎮銭肝煎), and others. The senior deputy administrator had sent advance notice (two days prior) inviting them, and accordingly they assembled. The banquet ceremony was completed and all dispersed.
The foregoing records were compiled by myself [the author] at the time of serving as a senior deputy administrator (目代), drawing upon the writings of my predecessors for reference, and recording in general, without omission, both current practices and transmitted ancient customs (古実). This has been written for the convenience of future reference within my own household. Therefore, I strictly caution against showing this to anyone outside of like-minded close friends.
