一 同日、日光において大猷院様（徳川家光）の三十三回忌法事が行われることについて、将軍様のご機嫌をうかがうため、使者を通じて御杉重一組を献上した（昨十三日にお伺い済み）
一 四月十六日、右同様の件について披露が済んだ旨の捻り奉書が老中戸田山城守忠昌殿から届いた

一 同月二十日、日光表への代参として富永新左衛門長盛を派遣した（御留守居村上三大夫同道）
大猷院様の御霊前に御香奠として銀三十枚を献上した
一 同月二十一日、法事が済んだお祝いとして登城すべきところ、病気のため辞退し、右のお祝いのため老中へ使者として御留守居を派遣した

1. On the same day, regarding the 33rd memorial service for Daiyuin-sama (Tokugawa Iemitsu) being held at Nikko,御杉重 (cedar boxes) were presented through an envoy to inquire after the shogun's health (inquiry completed on the 13th of yesterday)
1. On April 16th, a twisted official letter arrived from Elder Toda Yamashiro-no-kami Tadamasa regarding the completion of the presentation of the aforementioned matter

1. On the 20th of the same month, Tominaga Shinzaemon Nagamori was dispatched as a proxy pilgrim to Nikko (accompanied by御留守居 Murakami Sandayu)
Thirty pieces of silver were presented as incense money before the spirit of Daiyuin-sama
1. On the 21st of the same month, although [the lord] should have gone to the castle to celebrate the completion of the memorial service, due to illness this was declined, and the御留守居 was sent as an envoy to the Elders for this celebration
