                     裏書                       戸田山城守         鯛一折被献之候遂披露候恐々謹言           六月十六日          忠昌書判   一 六月廿六日御使者を以例之通御国産初鱈被献之   一 七月朔日於浄光院昨廿九日晩ゟ今朝迄 専光院様廿三回     御忌御法事御執行有之   一 同月六日端午御祝儀御献上ニ付而之御内書於 御城御渡     有之御家来拝領物等如例   一 同日為御生見玉御祝儀御使者を以例之通黄金被献之     御台様江鯖御樽被指上之   一 八月朔日 御病気ニ付 御登 城御断依之御使者冨永新左衛門《割書:長|盛》     を以御太刀馬代被献之   一 同月三日本多孫太郎《割書:長|員》儀病気ニ付御使三沢甚右衛門《割書:富|久》被遣之     御尋之御書被下之甚右衛門今日江戸御屋敷出立   一 九月五日為重陽御祝儀御使者を以例之通御小袖被献之   一 同月十六日本多孫太郎《割書:長|員》先達而ゟ不快之処追日快ニ付弥無油断     可有養生旨御書被成

(裏書) 戸田山城守 鯛一折を献上いたし候、披露いたし候、恐々謹言 六月十六日 忠昌(花押) 一 六月二十六日、使者を遣わし例の通り御国産の初鱈を献上した 一 七月朔日、浄光院において昨二十九日晩から今朝まで、専光院様二十三回忌の御法事を執行した 一 同月六日、端午の御祝儀御献上につき御内書を御城において御渡しがあった、御家来の拝領物等は例の通り 一 同日、御生見玉の御祝儀として使者を遣わし例の通り黄金を献上した、御台様へ鯖御樽を差し上げた 一 八月朔日、御病気につき御登城を御断りし、これにより使者冨永新左衛門長盛を遣わし御太刀馬代を献上した 一 同月三日、本多孫太郎長員が病気につき使者三沢甚右衛門富久を遣わし、御尋ねの御書を下された、甚右衛門は今日江戸御屋敷を出立した 一 九月五日、重陽の御祝儀として使者を遣わし例の通り御小袖を献上した 一 同月十六日、本多孫太郎長員が先達てより不快であったところ、追々快方に向かっているので、いよいよ油断なく養生すべき旨の御書を認めた

(Endorsement) Toda Yamashiro-no-kami One folding box of sea bream has been presented, and this has been reported. Respectfully submitted. June 16th, Tadamasa (with signature) 1. On June 26th, an envoy was sent to present the first cod of the season from the domain, as customary. 1. On July 1st, at Jōkō-in temple, the 23rd memorial service for Lord Senkō-in was conducted from the evening of the 29th until this morning. 1. On the 6th of the same month, regarding the presentation of congratulations for the Boys' Festival, an inner letter was presented at the castle, and retainers received gifts as usual. 1. On the same day, as congratulations for the imperial birth viewing, an envoy was sent to present gold as customary, and a barrel of mackerel was offered to Her Ladyship. 1. On August 1st, due to illness, attendance at the castle was declined, and consequently envoy Tominaga Shinzaemon Nagamori was sent to present a ceremonial sword and horse substitute. 1. On the 3rd of the same month, as Honda Magotarō Nagataka was ill, envoy Misawa Jinuemon Tomihisa was sent, and a letter of inquiry was bestowed. Jinuemon departed for the Edo residence today. 1. On September 5th, as congratulations for the Chrysanthemum Festival, an envoy was sent to present court robes as customary. 1. On the 16th of the same month, as Honda Magotarō Nagataka, who had been unwell for some time, was gradually recovering, a letter was written stating that he should continue to take care of his health without negligence.
