一 同三午年八月男子無之候ニ付小原新右衛門二男
惣蔵聟養子ニ仕度旨被任願候事
一 同年十月為勤番江戸表へ罷登翌未五月罷下候

一 同三午年八月男子がいないため、小原新右衛門の二男惣蔵を婿養子にしたい旨の願いが許可された件
一 同年十月勤番として江戸へ赴き、翌未年五月に帰国した
ただし御道中御供番の仮役を仰せ付けられたが、同七月に
御道中の御供に無断欠席することなく精勤した旨が
公表された件
一 同四未年閏十二月御目付を仰せ付けられた件
一 同六酉年三月勤番として江戸へ赴き、同十月に帰国した

仰せ付けられ、毎回御用人の前でお酒を下賜された件

一 In the third year, eighth month of An'ei (1774), as there was no male heir, a petition to adopt Sozō, the second son of Obara Shin'emon, as son-in-law and heir was approved
一 In the tenth month of the same year, he went to Edo for duty rotation and returned in the fifth month of the following year (1775)
However, he was temporarily appointed as御道中御供番 (escort guard for the lord's travels), and in the seventh month it was publicly announced that he had served diligently without being absent from his escort duties
一 In the intercalary twelfth month of the fourth year of An'ei (1775), he was appointed as御目付 (inspector)
一 In the third month of the sixth year of An'ei (1777), he went to Edo for duty rotation and returned in the tenth month of the same year
It was publicly announced that he served attentively and diligently without delay during his military service
一 In the tenth month of the eighth year of An'ei (1779), he went to Edo for duty rotation and returned in the fourth month of the following year (1780)
However, during military service,
Nono Tadashi had been appointed as a sword practice partner for Lord Senmyō-in,
but when Tadashi was transferred, there was no one to serve as practice partner.
Therefore, Lord Shō-in
wished for Chūemon to attend, so he was ordered to serve as practice partner in times of need, and sake was granted to him each time in the presence of the chief retainer
