一、同三寅年（文化三年、1806年）三月、一旨流槍術の締め方（取りまとめ・指導役）を仰せ付けられ、同六巳年（文化六年、1809年）まで相勤め候事
一、同五辰年（文化五年、1808年）十一月、寒入り（冬の寒の入り）の御機嫌御伺い仕立て、御国使者を仰せ付けられ、右につき費（費用・手当）

One entry: In the eleventh month of the same year, as his father (親義) had diligently served in many capacities over many years, by special circumstances and in accordance with the petition from those of his father's peer group (*oya nakama*), he was for the first time granted an audience (*o-memie*) [with the lord].
One entry: In the third month of the third year of Tora [Bunka 3, 1806], he was appointed to the role of coordinator/instructor (*shimeri-kata*) of the Ichishi-ryū school of spear techniques (*sōjutsu*), a position he held until the sixth year of Mi [Bunka 6, 1809].
