現代語訳
代官役の御赦免をいただきたい旨を願い申し上げたところ、保養に努めながら勤めを続けるようにとのお達しがあった。
一、同二十卯年（元文元年・1735年）八月、頭（組頭）の杉田五郎兵衛が願いの通り隠居を仰せ付けられ、後任の御役として生駒五兵衛組に入ることになった。
一、元文二巳年（1737年）八月、願いの通り代官役兼務の御免をいただいた。
一、同五申年（1740年）三月、願いの通り、倅（息子）の重治が御番代を仰せ付けられた。
一、寛保二戌年（1742年）十二月十七日、六十七歳にて病死。法名は宝幢院承誉厚喚居士。葬所は同上。

A request was submitted to be relieved of the duties of the deputy magistrate (daikan-yaku). In response, an order was issued to continue serving while taking care of one's health.
One entry: In the eighth month of the same twentieth year of the Rabbit (1735), the unit head (kumigashira) Sugita Gorōbei was granted retirement as requested, and [the subject] was transferred to the unit of Ikoma Gobei as successor to the post.
One entry: In the eighth month of Genbun 2 (1737), the year of the Snake, permission was granted as requested to be relieved of the concurrent duties as deputy magistrate (daikan-yaku).
One entry: In the third month of the same fifth year, the year of the Monkey (1740), as requested, [the subject's] son Jūji was appointed as a replacement guard (o-bandai).
One entry: On the seventeenth day of the twelfth month of Kanpō 2 (1742), the year of the Dog, died of illness at the age of sixty-seven. Posthumous Buddhist name (hōmyō): Hōdō-in Shōyo Kōkan Koji. Place of burial: same as above.
