鯤鯨（くじら）は七里（ななさと）を潤し、
鯰（なまず）は四里四方を揺り動かし、諸職人の腕を振るわせ、思う存分に儲けさせる。
その上、銭車（銭の廻り）もよくなり、
富貴草の花を咲かせ、生芝の芽を茂らせ、
貧しき者と富める者とを入り混ぜて、正しい斧（裁き）を下すとかや。

The great whale moistens seven villages around it,
while the catfish shakes the ground for four leagues in every direction, setting the hands of workers of all trades in motion, letting them earn to their hearts' content.
Furthermore, the wheel of money turns well,
scattering the blossoms of the "wealth plant," causing the shoots of fresh grass to flourish,
mixing together the poor and the rich, and delivering righteous judgment — or so they say.
