御請不仕又長尾謙信并諏訪頼重と

【朱書 織田信長公の勘気を蒙り、天下への奉公を禁じられ】
信長に仕えていたが、伊勢国亀山にいた際に何らかの事情があり【朱書 織田信長公の勘気を蒙り、天下への奉公を禁じられ】暇を
もらい、清世を改めて常安と名乗り、信濃国
高遠に居住していたところ、
透公様【朱書 保科弾正忠正直公】から与力として仕えるよう使者を遣わされたが、
承諾せず、また長尾謙信並びに諏訪頼重との
戦争の際に軍列に加わるよう依頼され
三度にわたって軍事行動に従ったが、事が済んで召し出したい旨があったものの、固く辞退し
承諾しなかった。しかしその戦功を称えられ、左養として
毎年飯料を支給された。その後、
道義様【朱書 保科弾正忠正光公】から息子がいるかどうか尋ねられたので、
息子源左衛門が江戸にいる旨を申し上げた
ところ、召し寄せるよう仰せを蒙った。

道義様【朱書 正光公】の御代に新知百石を下され、御馬
廻を仰せ付けられ、その後御厩別当を
仰せ付けられたが、愚意に及んだため、御雇い勤めとして御馬
方の総支配を仰せ付けられた。
一 慶長十九【朱書 甲】寅年（1614年）七月一日、五十一歳で
信濃国高遠の城下で病死。法名【朱書 蓮西月道林居士。保科家が会津若松の叶山形成寺に移った際、法要関係も移された】蓮遷

He had served Nobunaga, but due to some circumstances while in Kameyama, Ise Province【Red ink note: Incurred the displeasure of Lord Oda Nobunaga and was forbidden from serving anywhere in the realm】, he was granted leave,
changed his name from Kiyose to Tsuneyasu, and resided in
Takatō in Shinano Province. From there,
Lord Tōru【Red ink note: Hoshina Danjō-chū Masanao-kō】sent a messenger requesting he serve as a yoriki (retainer), but
he declined. Also, during the wars with Nagao Kenshin and Suwa Yorinobu,
he was requested to join the military ranks
three times and participated in military campaigns, but when summoned after the completion of affairs, he firmly declined
and would not accept. However, his military achievements were praised, and as Sayō,
he was granted annual rice stipends. Later,
Lord Dōgi【Red ink note: Hoshina Danjō-chū Masamitsu-kō】inquired whether he had any sons, so
he reported that his son Genzaemon was in Edo,
whereupon he received orders to summon him.

During the reign of Lord Dōgi【Red ink note: Masamitsu-kō】, he was granted a new stipend of 100 koku and appointed to the
horse guard, later appointed as head of the stables,
but due to his advanced age, he was appointed as a hired retainer in charge of overall
supervision of horse affairs.
