一 同（文政）四（巳）年五月、密事の当座仮役を仰せ付けられた事。
一 同六（未）年七月、密事勤を仰せ付けられた事。
一 同七（申）年十月、奉行所御再興にあたり、多岐にわたる御用向きを一貫して勤め上げ、書方の体裁を整えた。これにより、品々困難な調達ごとも将来を見据えて適切に吟味し、おおよその見通しを立てるに至り、さらに社倉増長の

件についても格別に勤労し、功績があったことにより、御役料三石五斗の御加増に加え、直接に壱人扶持の御役料を下し置かれた事。

- In the fifth month of the same (Bunsei) 4th year (Year of the Snake), he was provisionally appointed to the temporary post of secret affairs (*mitsujigoto tōza kariyaku*).
- In the seventh month of the same 6th year (Year of the Sheep), he was appointed to the post of secret affairs service (*mitsujigoto tsutome*).
- In the tenth month of the same 7th year (Year of the Monkey), upon the re-establishment of the magistrate's office (*bugyōsho*), he diligently performed the numerous administrative duties throughout, and having established proper standards for clerical work, he appropriately investigated various difficult procurement matters with an eye to the future, arriving at a general plan. Furthermore, regarding the matter of increasing the community granary (*shakura*),

he labored with particular distinction and achieved meritorious results. Consequently, in addition to an increase of three *koku* five *to* in his official stipend (*yakuryō*), he was additionally granted a stipend of one person's ration (*hitori fuchi*) in direct reward.
