現代語訳

【右丁】 橋の側で手水を行い、次に二の鳥居に入る時は下裾で一揖する。 次に上三職は土の屋の西の方より着座し、権祝以下は土屋の軒下を北へ回って着座する。ただし東から回って沓座揖は通常通り行う。 次に所司が来て諸司雑事等が整った旨を申し上げて退出する。 現在は侍所において所司が申し上げている。 次に神供が進発する(刀禰がそれぞれ神供の御櫃を捧げ持つ)。神人が神供の御前に従い、土屋を通る時、社司各々は平伏する。 次に陰陽大夫が片岡の岩辺(玉の橋の南脇の川辺)に進み立ち、一揖して神供を祓い清める(禰宜方・祝方の御櫃を続けて一度に行い、別に揖して祓い清めることは及ばない)。 【左丁】 次に禰宜方の神供は玉橋を経て楼門・中門等に入り、西の御供屋に至る。祝方の神供は片岡橋を経て東門に入り、東の御供屋に到着する。 次に外陣神供が進発し(神人が持つ)、膳部が供物を奉供して西門から御供屋に入る。 次に社司は上臈から各々土屋座を起ち(沓揖・座揖は通常通り)、神前に参進する。 陰陽大夫は同所において各々社司の身体を祓う(社司はこれに応じる)。 次に禰宜・祝は左右に分かれて参進するが、経路は神供と同様で、禰宜方は神前西透廊の座に着く。

【Right Page】 They perform purification with water at the side of the bridge, then when entering the second torii gate, they perform one bow at the lower hem. Next, the top three officials take their seats from the western side of the earthen house, while the assistant priests (gon-hafuri) and below go around the eaves of the earthen house to the north and take their seats. However, they go around from the east and perform the shoe-removal bow and seating bow as usual. Next, the administrative officer (shoshi) comes and reports that various officials' miscellaneous matters are in order, then withdraws. Currently, the administrative officer makes this report at the attendants' quarters (jisho). Next, the divine offerings (jingu) proceed (each tonne carries the sacred food containers). The shrine attendants (jinnin) follow before the divine offerings, and when passing through the earthen house, each shrine official prostrates themselves. Next, the Master of Yin-Yang advances and stands at the rock area of Kataoka (the riverside south of Tama Bridge), performs one bow and purifies the divine offerings (the food containers of both the negi and hafuri groups are done consecutively in one go, with no need for separate bowing and purification). 【Left Page】 Next, the divine offerings of the negi group pass through Tama Bridge, enter the tower gate, middle gate, etc., and arrive at the western offering house. The divine offerings of the hafuri group pass through Kataoka Bridge, enter the eastern gate, and arrive at the eastern offering house. Next, the outer sanctuary divine offerings proceed (carried by shrine attendants), and the food preparation officials offer the provisions, entering the offering house through the western gate. Next, the shrine officials, starting from the highest ranking, each rise from their seats at the earthen house (shoe bow and seating bow as usual) and advance to the divine presence. The Master of Yin-Yang purifies each shrine official's body at the same location (the shrine officials respond accordingly). Next, the negi and hafuri divide left and right and advance, but their route is the same as for the divine offerings, with the negi group taking seats at the western corridor in front of the divine presence.
