一、寛文元(丑)年、月不詳、茶道役を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同九(酉)年九月、親・小左衛門が老衰により御奉公が難しい旨申し上げ候ところ、年来よく相勤め候につき、親の御擬作御結を下し置かれ、金五両に十石八斗四人扶持を成し下し置かれ候事。
一、延宝六(午)年二月、芝御屋敷の御庭の御普請を仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同年四月、御庭の御普請ならびに御座中

の御作事に骨折り候につき、御褒美として銀子一枚を下し置かれ候事。
一、天和元(酉)年六月、久しく律儀に御奉公を相勤め候につき、茶道頭を仰せ付けられ候事。

- In the 1st year of Kanbun (丑, 1661), month unknown: He was appointed to the role of Tea Ceremony Official (*chadō-yaku*).
- In the 9th year of the same era (酉, 1669), 9th month: His father, Kozaemon, submitted a petition stating that due to old age he was no longer able to serve. As [the son] had served diligently over the years, the father's *gigi-saku* (provisional stipend grant) allotment was transferred [to him], and he was granted five *ryō* in gold, ten *koku* eight *to* in rice stipend, and the support of four persons (*yonin-fuchi*).
- In the 6th year of Enpō (午, 1678), 2nd month: He was ordered to oversee the garden construction works at the Shiba residence (*Shiba o-yashiki*).
- In the same year, 4th month: In recognition of his diligent efforts in the garden construction works and the construction works in the reception hall (*o-za-naka*),

he was awarded one piece of silver (*gin-su ichimai*) as a commendation.
- In the 1st year of Tenna (酉, 1681), 6th month: In recognition of his long and faithful service, he was appointed Head of Tea Ceremony (*chadō-gashira*).
- In the 2nd year of Genroku (巳, 1689), 6th month: His previously held provisional stipend (*gigi-saku*) was converted and formally granted as a domain stipend (*chigyō*) of one hundred *koku*.
- In the 16th year of the same era (未, 1703), 8th month: As requested, he was granted permission to retire. In recognition of his past distinguished service, he was awarded a retirement stipend (*inkyo-ryō*) of three persons' provisions (*sannin-fuchi*), and it was declared that he should continue to appear before His Lordship when summoned.
