一 五月六日、浅草屋敷の普請が完成したため、今日お引越しされた
一 八月五日、本多淡路守殿が逝去されたが、実母方の伯父にあたるため、半減の服忌をお受けになった
一 九月朔日、金之助様が初めて登城され、御目見を仰せ付けられたことに対し、お祝いとして御使い嶋田宇右衛門を通じて御太刀・銀馬代二種一荷を進上された

宗昌様が参府されるため、お迎えとして常盤橋御屋敷へお出ましになった
一 同月四日、右と同様の理由で上使がお越しになるため、常盤橋御屋敷へお出ましになった。上使は御老中安藤対馬守殿とお会いされた《割書：六郷主馬殿もお会いされた》
一 同月七日、伊織様が国許で病気が重篤である旨の知らせが来たため、お見舞いとして御徒飛脚《割書：寒江与五太夫》を道中七日の行程で派遣された
ただし与五太夫が小田原まで行ったところ、逝去の旨の知らせが来たため引き返した
一 同月二十一日、今度の簡略化の件により、これまで御駕籠回りに十人がお供していたうち二人を減らし、御馬も当分減らし、御茶弁当も上屋敷へお出ましの際は取り止める旨が仰せ出された

• On May 6th, as the construction of the Asakusa residence was completed, [the lord] moved there today.
• On August 5th, Honda Awaji-no-kami died. As he was an uncle on the mother's side, [the lord] observed half the usual period of mourning.
• On September 1st, as Kinnosuke-sama made his first appearance at the castle and was granted an audience, congratulations were offered through the messenger Shimada Uemon with a ceremonial sword and silver horse substitute, two kinds in one package.
• On September 2nd,
As Munemasa-sama was coming to Edo, [the lord] went to the Tokiwabashi residence to receive him.
• On September 4th, for the same reason as above, as an official messenger was coming, [the lord] went to the Tokiwabashi residence. The messenger met with Senior Councilor Ando Tsushima-no-kami. {{Marginal note: Also met with Rokugo Shuma}}
• On September 7th, word came that Iori-sama was critically ill in his domain, so a foot messenger {{Marginal note: Samue Yogotayu}} was dispatched on a seven-day journey to visit him.
However, when Yogotayu reached Odawara, word came of [Iori's] death, so he returned.
• On September 21st, regarding the current economizing measures, it was ordered that of the ten attendants who had been accompanying the palanquin, two should be reduced, the horses should also be temporarily reduced, and tea and lunch boxes should be discontinued when going to the upper residence.
